“Networks and synergies to support refugees in education” Conference

The conference entitled “Networks and synergies to support refugees in education” was organized on Sunday, May 7, 2023, from 08:30 to 13:30 at the Geography Amphitheatre on the Hill of the University of the Aegean in Mytilene. The goal of the event was to highlight the efforts made by the member universities of the Greek Section of Scholars at Risk (SAR) for the protection of endangered refugee researchers, but also to promote the network’s objectives and activities to refugee communities, education/counselling structures and civil society organizations. At the same time, with the participation of representatives of primary and secondary education structures, a dialogue was opened on the fields and content of cooperation required for this purpose.
